Ramin Monshizadeh, MD

Dr. Monshizadeh received his Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from University of California, San Diego. He obtained his medical degree from University of Southern California and performed his internship at University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine.

Dr. Monshizadeh completed his residency and a two year fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at Boston University School of Medicine.

  • He then joined the faculty of the University of Florida as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology where he engaged in practice of academic as well as clinical ophthalmology.

  • He is an author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed ophthalmology literature. He is a regular contributor at the national and international scientific meetings.

  • Dr. Monshizadeh is available for consultation in all areas of ophthalmology with expertise in medical and surgical vitreoretinal disease.
